Default 2001 Mustang GT Coolant Problem, Please Help!!!

hey everyone i got a problem, so the other day i was driving i have 2001 4.6l and the service engine soon kept blinking and going on and off, but then my car started to smell like coolant and smoke started to pour out of my exhausts as i was driving it was white smoke, i pulled up to my house, smoke started to fill my car, and the hood was smoking, so i opened it up and there was either steam or smoke coming near the firewall so after a while i let it cool down, i took a few pics, the hose thats attached to the firewall seems to have broken or cracked off from the radiator or the engine idk what part exactly,it's the small black hole right near the green part, but there was coolant everywhere on my engine so please let me know what i can do and if you know what is wrong exactly and what part to replace and how much it would be, thanks

Feel the nipple "hole" to see if its cracked. If not, the hose clamp might have gave out and hose slid off. The hose slides on top of the "hole" next to the "green" part/cop. Check hose to see if its bad, if not attach hose back with a new small hose clamp from auto store. Put more coolant and check for leaks. The reason your car was tripping out was because coolant was entering inside your cops/spark plug area or the "green" part. It was probably making your motor misfire.

Ouch. I am guessing that your heater hose blew, your car overheated and popped the head gasket. White smoke blowing out the exhaust is never a good sign, especially when coolant is going everywhere.

looks like the heater hose fitting broke loose from the plastic intake. you need a new intake manifold. you can get a new one from rockauto.com for around 200.

+1 on new intake manifold. ive been down that road, just be glad you dont have to replace your head gaskets. the white smoke, although a sign of a blown head gasket, was most likely just coolant splashing onto the headers and making steam.

Depends on if it was coming out the pipes or from under the hood. If it came out the pipes, then he is probably screwed.
