I am planning to lower the stang, what drop would best suit the car??

It's really up to your preferences and what you want to be doing with the car

I think a 2" drop looks best personally. Stock headers won't be a problem.

I did 2", which looks bitchin, but if I had it to do over again I might only go 1.5". Crossing speed bumps at a 45* angle to avoid scraping gets old (and still scrape a little sometimes anyway).

I personally don't really like the look of lowered cars....but I will be lowering mine a bit just because it sits really high from the factory

i like my 1.5" drop, i personally feel 2" is a little too much (especially for the terrible Chicago roads)
this what i used too install my spring's it was kinda a pain(back where fairly easy, front where not so nice) if you can get a lift too use i would
http://www.americanmuscle.com/h-r-ss...4-install.html

edit: if you are worried about doing this yourself it is decently cheap to get done somewhere i was quoted at 60$-70$ a spring, but i decided to take the job on myself.
