most cars heat up in like 3-5 minutes, mine takes like 15 minutes. Its so cold in the morning too, its horrible. So you don't think anything is wrong with it?

idk...outta the 8 cars ive owned, ive never had one that heated up that quick, so idk...my heat starts to get luke warm after like 4-5mins, but i wouldnt call it hot in that amount of time...its usually 8-10mins before its fully warmed up, and i drive it in a higher rpm for the first few mins until it begins to warm up

have you checked your coolant level to make sure its full? if you feel it takes longer than it should, it cant hurt to drop a thermostat in it to see...but im not thinking its a thermostat issue...theyre cheap enough that it cant hurt though...thats on you

if it was stuck open, it would cause longer time to heat up because the coolant would always be flowing even when the engine was cold

thats EXACTLY what i think is going on, its flowing and not sitting there so it can heat up. If that was the case, would I just have to replace the thermostat. I've owned 5 cars before, and usually heat gets "warm" not hot in about 3-5 minutes. With the stang its almost like having the A/C blowing on you for 15 minutes in a -10F car its brutal.

"if" that was the case, i would say yes...replace the thermostat...grab a new one and it just goes right in...easy install, just be careful not to pinch the o-ring

not sure...not much, i bought mine from rpmoutlet for like $20 i think, but its a 180 degree...i wouldnt do a 160 like some people do, since you live in a cold weather state, but a 180 should be fine...autozone or advanced may have one, or check some mustang sites...theyre easy to find

Fan is working. I guess I'll try letting the car warm up first, before moving it. It that doesn't work, I'll go with the coolant temp sensor.
