speedo calibration qtn
Is there a cheaper way to calibrate after a gear swap or do i need a tuner? I am holding out for a KB sc kit that comes with a burned chip and not really interested in spending the money for a tuner.
Can the speedo cal be done with a tuner without locking it to your vin?

they told me on the phone they can, then when i got there they said they can, then after an hour and a half in the waiting room they come out and tell me they dont have the equipment to do it and sent me packing...get out to my car and theres motor oil on my windshield, and pink fuzz all over the rest of the car....
i had to leave before going ape ****...that place sucked, so maybe it was just a bad dealership

Thanks. That speedcal sounds like the cheapest way to handle it.

Delta Forces' Special Forces tuning package comes with two "bullets" so that it can can tune two cars at a time (actually more if you buy more bullets).
All you need to do is read the stock tune from the second vehicle, save it to a PC, and that's it. The interface box will now allow both cars to be tuned, and you will have used up both bullets of course).
To get bullets back you have to return each vehicle back to the stock tune that was first downloaded--it has to be EXACTLY the same tune file that was originally read and saved to the PC..
