Idk about on a 17x10 but, on a 17x10.5 rim most people use a 315/35-R17

same tires will fit a 10" rim too.
as for fitting them it depends on a year, new edges(99-04) will just bolt on and won't rub, for sn95's(94-98) needs at least 1/4" spacer. for the front 275 on a 9"tire will rub the fender wheel when you turn the wheel all the way. otherwise it's fine

315's will work fine on a 10" rim. What rims are you looking at?

I'm running 17x10's with 315/35's in the rear and 17x9's with 275/40's up front lowered with C springs and no problems.

Like Vovo said, I have 10.5's on my 2000 without any modifications.

Since Nitto's run narrow, the 315 NT555's sidewalls are flush with my 10" wheels.
