Default Nitrous question for 04.

OK so I jus completed my Nitrous kit on my 04gt. Basic run down is a custom wet system, 10lb bottle, Warmer, Window switch 3k rpm-5k rpm activation field, Wot switch, NOS sniper kit 75 - 125hp, Purge, NX fuel rail adaptor.

- Car has a ( 12-04-2009) 93 Diablosport predator tune
- NGK tr6 spark Plugs.
Ive tested all the parts of the system and they all funtion correctly working as they should.

Before I go test the nitrous kit what else should I check?

I had a few questions I was hopping to get answered before I do.

- I used the #24 jet for the nitrous line and a #18 jet for the fuel line . According to the book that came with the system that should be the 75hp shot nozzle setup is that correct?

- With the tune I have listed above do I need to retard timing? If so approx how much?

Anything else I should check before testing?

Thanks

If you've tested all the parts, have the right plugs, tune, and fuel you should good to go.

Why are you setting it up to stop spraying at 5k? That's a little early don't you think? I run mine from 3-6k.

I have not adjusted it yet since I got the MSD rpm window switch, I will adjust it to 6k thanks.

Also I was wonder if the tune I have needs to be backed off on timing bescause I think the preadators come with advanced timing over stock in those don't they? Whats your total Deg of timing?

You should have no timing taken out. It should be stock timing.
