As long as it is properly installed there shouldn't be a problem. The question probably should be 'Do I need a mechanical oil pressure gauge in my DD?'

well the reason for putting a oil pressure gauge in the car is because of the v2 s/c im installing in a month or two and i know about the oil pressure gauge in the car in a dummy gauge (reading the same pressure as long its within the factory specs). i rather be safe than have a engine go boom
