Default My Next Mod?



Hello all,</P>


I have an '03 GT Vert. The only MOD I've done (if you want to call it a MOD) is replacing the stock air filter with a K&amp;N filter (also removed the air intake silencer). I noticed the difference right away! <IMG src=smileys/smiley20.gif border="0"></P>


My question is, what would be the next MOD I should do? Some people say gears (mine is auto), others say pullys &amp; another suggestion was exhaust. One guy told me to get the Diablo chip. I'm confused. <IMG src=smileys/smiley5.gif border="0">Your advise would be much appreciated.</P>

Gears will make the most difference for the price. Exhaust and gears are both good starting points.

the main purpose of a chip is to make all your mods work together in a more efficient manner....id say gears and midpipe

Actually, on domestics, it's not referred to as a midpipe. It's an H-pipe or X-pipe. Thanks. </P>

Whoever told you to get a chip now, has no clue how to modify a car. That should be the very last modification you do to your car.

The gear (4.10) would be the best bang for your buck; the exhaust would be the most common & typical way to start, & pulleys are probably the cheapest. DO THEM ALL!
