Default Zex wet kit 175 shot

OK OK, I am not new to mustangs but am new to nitrous. I am looking to add a big wet shot to my mustang soon to tide me over between superchargers. So far I've been looking around and the best thing I've found so far looks like the 175 wet shot by ZEX part# 82217

I have a fully forged/built motor so that is not a worry at all. What else would be required for me to run this kit safely? Feel free to break this down barney style since I am a nitrous newbie

If you have a stock intake ditch it for a more solid one 1st nitrous backfire the plastic intake will shatter.

Technically, you should only need some colder plugs, and a tune with timing pulled and fuel added.

I know the drivetrain stuff. I'm looking more specifically into fuel requirements, window switches, stuff like that. How much more fuel really needs to be added to the tune for a wet kit? I thought the whole point of doing a wet kit was that the jets will take care of that.

From what I've gathered, a window switch is mandatory for safe operation. Pretty much all the kits I've seen come with a WOT switch. I am not new to modding, tuning, or power, just new to nitrous systems.

IMO nitrous express or go home..to each his own

real quick...
-new fuel filter
-ford gt pump
-NGK tr6 plugs (gapping depends on your tuner)
-MSD digital window switch
-GENX-2 kit
-possibly PSR fuel line tapper unit (draws fuel from fuel line instead of shradder valve to prevent lean spike on initial hit)
-progressive controller
etc....the list go's on but do your pockets? haha

you could also like a a dual stage kit (spray a 100 off the line then the second stage sprays 150)...car would be a striaght raped monster

wet kits = hit harder, if you pedal you bloe your upper intake mani and intake system..
dry kit = if a bad thing happens you blow your motor

you still need more fuel on a wet kit over a 100 shot...i will be spraying a 100-125 and i bought a gt fuel pump just to be safe. YOU DONT WANT TO HAVE ENOUGH FUEL AND SPRAY

and WOT switch are the fastest and idiot proof (spray under 3k = boom)

Thanks for the info 01snake,

intake puddles that cause catastrophic damage to intake and anything else in its way are not the funnest sounding things. I have been reading some pros and cons of doing wet vs dry kits. I'm still on the fence.

I have custom tuning software, so adding fuel in the tune would not be a problem and I have a wideband kit so I can keep an eye on my a/f ratio.

Does anyone have experience with the NOSzle direct port kit. I woudn't have to worry about puddling in the intake It's expensive, but it does come with a window switch. Does it look like it's worth the money?

direct ports are the best they spray a equal amount in each cylinder (good for big shots 200+hp)

they are expensive but worth it if you have the money

if your gonna be spraying a 150+ shot id get a 15lbs. bottle, you will burn a 10lbs. fast
