Exclamation TIRE SIZE

What tires should I put on 18x9's going on a 99 cobra with plans to drop the car 1.5 inches? Does that affect it at all?

Anything from a 245~275 is rated to fit per all the manufactuers in which I know, but I think a 265 is a nice fit

The drop is fine with with any of the above sizes, but the 275's seem to rub a bit in many cases, but easily address with a bit of fender rolling.

18"s are typically going to be 35 series up to a 275 and 30 series from 285's and up. I recommend these profiles for good clearance, but some opt for a 40/35 series for a bit softer ride.

A 275/35 is just fine, but is the minimum approved width for 9" wheel and is very near the same diameter as the OEM tire on your car.

Could have said that better, huh?....

I should have said that a 9" wheel is the minimum width required for a 275/35 and anything wider is not approved by manufacturer of tires.
