Default Parts list for 31-spline upgrade

So far I've got Moser
1. 31 spline forged Moser Axles
2. 31 spline FRPP diff
3. 4.10s currently installed
5. Rear End Girdle
6. Royal Purple 75w90 with Friction Modifier
7. Gasket Maker
8. Shim kit????

I'm not going to do the whle rebuild kit since my car only has 36,500 miles on it. Anything else I'm missing? I'm hoping I can use my stock reluctor (excitor) rings.

Yes you can use your stock ABS exciter rings...but you need a machine shop to transfer them. Also, while your new axles are not yet on, I would highly suggest getting ARP or Moroso extended studs....it's safer and often a track requirement when you run slicks. Rims like prostars have thick centers so it's a lot nicer/better to have the extended studs. They also don't cost much.

Maybe get your axle tubes welded also?

You should also use 75W140 instead...at least that was what I was repeatedly advised to use by many shops with my FRPP 31 spline termi differential

Other than that, you seem good to go

I've been reading up on the swap a little bit and everywhere I've looked has 75w90 for 99-04s and 75w140 for 05+

Good Call on the extended studs

Ya it's 75w90 for 99-04's but you are putting in a 31 spline FRPP differential (OEM 05+) which works better with the 75W140
