Injector/hp question

Pulled the valve cover off today, springs and all look fine. So I took the front cover off and noticed the passenger side timing chain tensioner was weak and there was some slack in the top of the chain. Hopefully this is it, cuz I just purchased the entire timing kit from ebay. If I put this thing together and find out I spun a bearing I will be at the end of my rope!
