I have a 2001 GT with a Kenne Bell 2.1. Just got done with my compression checks, everything seemed to be ok, put everything back together, keyed the ingnition 5 times then started my car, and all I hear is a loud rattling noise coming from the engine!! Imediatly shut it off, took all the plugs back out and found nothing!!! Put everything back together and same thing. The weird thing is, my Odometer is at 56k, yesterday it was at 60k, and everytime I key off and key on the gauges do the sweeping thing. I remember that just happening the first time you key on after dissconecting the battery!! I don't know, maybe with me running the compression checks it somehow screwed up my ECU or KB chip?? Has anyone heard of this or have any idea what it could be???
