Window regulator, after 2 years... glue the issue?
my windows have been fubard for 2 years now, last night i finally cracked and took the door panel off ... it doesnt look like the regulator is the issue. the window is seated into the regulators clip...via...glue? can i just put a new strip of glue in there? does anyone know what kind of glue is used? i would REALLY appreciate any advice, thank you!!

im not quite sure but at Pepboys....or any other parts store i guess has a "loctite" epoxy that works well to hold things. But a window it put under so much stress....mainly due to duration rather than force applied during use.
I guess its an idea though. Hope it helps.
GOODLUCK!

If the glue lets go just shoot me a message I have and use poly urethane for work(Auto Glass) I can shoot you a tube and the a pinch of primer. Best way to get those clips to hold again imo. This glue hold something like 1500lbs per square inch. It is the Sika Flex brand.
