Default Grinding noise under deceleration

I get a slight grinding noise almost under decleration. It only happens in fifth gear when i let off and coast. I cant pin pont where the sound is coming from. Anyone have ideas to what it may be?

I know my Mustang has some cheap Nexen tires on it and at highway speed the tire noise almost sounds close to a grinding noise, just an idea other than that what condition are you brake pads in and then from that check bearings.

Its not the pads i just did them fairly recently. Its not the tires cause its not a constant or rythmic. I only hear it when im in 5th gear going 60+ and let off the gas and coast. And its like an odd grinding sound it almost sounds like a backfire. Could it be the bushing in the tail piece of the tranny where the driveshaft goes in? I need to replace the u joints on the driveshaft should i go ahead and do the bushing as well?
