Default Car pulling hard to the left after header gasket replacement and numb steering.

Well, replaced my drivers side header gasket with a 3 layer metal gasket so no leaks. However, the car pulls very hard to the left and it seems like the steering is very numb. I crawled under the car and checked everything. I'm gonna get an alignmen this week, however, I don't think the car is THAT far out of alignment to pull this hard. Ideas?

did you remove the steering shaft or something? why would swapping header gaskets make your car just magically pull? Maybe you hit a big bump on that test ride of yours. Check your tire pressures
