Default cold air intake-low battery

Hey Guys,
1st time to MF. heres the situation. I installed a CAI from American Muscle-Short Ram Air intake, and now I get a low battery indicator from the dash, the amperage gauge indicator also reflects that the battery is low,HOWEVER, when i accelerate, it goes back to normal.. this mystery is killing me...any advice will be greatly appreciated..thanks.

Coincidence....

Did you disconnected the negative battery cable when you installed the CAI? if so you may try cleaning the terminal and the battery post and make sure its nice a tight.

I 2nd the alternator opinion. Keep an eye on it, if it starts getting worst, you will need a new alternator because a bad one will leave you on the side of the road.
