Default Am i doing the right choices

ok so my 3rd gear in my trans went. and after looking at my options this is that i decieded to do i got a amercan powertrain 3650s trans and i am getting the stock clutch cable and quadrant put back in. My driving style is i like to have fun with the car but i am not nearly where i can say i pound the living daylight out of the car. I do take those high rpm runs every now and then but i am not dropping the clutch at every light or shifting hard threw all the gears each time. Now you know my driving style my car power mods are as follows Diablo sport tuner ,3.73 gears and short throw shifter. i do not plan on adding any other power adders any time soon. Does thsi seem like a good set up to everyone. the car is also my daily driver with city and highway driving.

Seems like a good setup to me. My Mach 1 is my daily driver as well. You'll be glad you went with the stock clutch. I had a GT at one point and I replaced the clutch with a centerforce dual friction clutch and that thing was a bitch in traffic. The stock clutch should hold up fine for the mods that you have as long as you dont burn it up. Depending on how new your clutch is and what condition it is in, you might want to replace it with a new stock clutch seeing as you have to pull the transmission.

ok so i am having diffrent thoughts of doing a stock clutch what are some suggestions as to what we i should do. it is my daily driver so maybe a clutch that is slightly more meaner then stock and will hold up to some pounding more?

well as i already suggested go with the king cobra. I beat on my car daily, I run it at the track, and its my DD for school and it handles it fine. If they dont make it for your tranny than someone else is gonna have to steer you in the right direction

When in doubt, go with OEM...aftermarket companies aren't tested for quality as much as OEM.
