Default Chevron or Shell?

So who's got the cleanest gas? I've heard people on both sides but I'm wondering if there's any solid proof. In ether case what's your opinion?

My tuner says to ONLY use Cheveron. Was cool because that has always been what I run anyway.

I've been using only Chevron in my car since the day i've bought it....but thats just because I have a weird thing about sticking to patterns like that. Do I think it is critical to? nope...

I have never noticed a difference between the 2 or any gas for that matter.

Neither.

Both are rip offs, usually 10-15% more expensive then other stations.

I used to use Chevron until the local station ripped me off. In my last car I had never in 5 years put more than 14.1 gallons in it, even when it was bone dry. Then one day when I still had about 1/8 of a tank left, their pump told me I had put 15.6 gallons in it...

So now I have to use BP/Amoco as there are 6 of those within 2 miles of me...

I use Shell or Chevron and 76 or even Mobil. 91 or 89 depending on how i feel haha.....
The gas here in Bakersfield CA from Shell and Chevron is:
91 octane- $3.29
89octane- $3.19
87 octane- $3.09
Thats in the places where the shell and chevron are cheapest.

In the other Chevrons' or Shells' about 1/4 mile away from the one with the prices previously stated, 91 is about $3.69/gal lol ppl are ignorant! or they dont care, whatever

I also hear that Texaco is good.

I use whatever is closest... if possible I get gas from shell, chevron, or mobile though. I usually get gas from BP since they have a station really close to my house.
