Default Fuse blowing for interior lights

The fuse that controls the lights for the interior, glovebox, and trunk blows every time i replace it. Sometimes I'll put a new fuse in and it will last for a few days, other times it will only last an hour. I have already looked up the fuse rating and it is correct. Can anyone offer any help? Thanks.

Hmmm I think I had this problem on my old mustang when something fell down in the cigarette lighter and kept shorting it out and blowing the fuse. And would do it at odd times since it would bounce around in there and only short at times, Not sure if this is your problem but IMO I'd look there first, Im pretty sure theyre on the same circuit on the 99-04s.

Guys, this is sorta off topic. My drivers side, when opened does not activate the dome light. Pass. side door when open, dome light come on. Irritating when I get in the car at 4:45 am for work. Is it a door switch or a fuse? Have'nt checked the fuses yet. Thanks..
