Default CMS Stage I's or 262ah with no tune

My friend has a 2004 GT and wanted to to know if he could install a mild cam like the CMS StgI's or the 262's and un the car without a tune for several weeks. Would it harm the car? Wuld he even be able to drive it? He has a handheld but wont be able to get to the dyno for a few weeks.

Yes you can drive it and yes you can install them straight up. They all should be degreed though. (All should.)

You should buy my CMS 2.5 blower cams. $400 brand new with only 1200miles.

You'll be fine. It may want to stall at idle, but you can work around that.

BTW, if you're staying n/a, i'd reccommend the CMS stage 1's over the Comp 262's. The profile is more suitable to a n/a setup.

Lol I know but I don't want to swap springs and the car is a dd so I don't want an agressive cam and plus it will primarily b an NA car
