Exclamation CD Player help?

I just bought an 01 Mustang today and it has the Mach 460 System in it which is nice as hell, but I just realized I cant use the CD player? Apparently it has a 6 Disc CD Changer but the slot just wont take a CD. Am I just stupid or something or what? Ill be tossing in my Pioneer DEH-5900 later this week so its not that big of a deal but I kinda wanna listen to a CD since the stock radio doesnt have an AUX unit :-p

No, because when I hit eject it says "CD Error"
Ive tried just about everything and the owner's manual doesnt tell you anything.

Btw how would installation be for an aftermarket headunit? Should it just wire right up? Or will there be any problems with the MACH system installed?

I also had cd error. I pulled cd player out, removed 5 discs, You'll need a small screwdriver like what comes in an eyeglass repair kit. Piece of crap still does'nt work. I think aftermarket unit will go right in. It has a ground wire and a remote wire plug in if I remember correctly.

Damn so id have to basically replace the whole system, amps and all? Thats some bs. Oh well looks like im buying a ****ty fm transmitter for my iPod instead of AUX. Unless the stock unit has an AUX input in the back or something?

Ya know on second thought, I read a thread about a Pioneer replacement head unit. Try the Crutchfield stereo catalog.
