will a lightning MAF be alright? i only want/need 430rwhp or so.
What about a BOV/ by pass? from what ive been told, the one that comes with the kit wont be enough.

Also,if i get intercooled i wont need the air intake assy. will i?

yes you absolutely will need the intake assembly. you will not need the discharge assembly though but you will have to buy a BOV or BPV.

They call those power pipes and they are before the blower, not the discharger tube. The factory vortech discharge tube is just a funny "U" shaped tube that goes from the blower to the t/b. If you decide to run an intercooled setup then you don't need to buy that pipe because you'll be using different tubing to run through the intercooler, then to the t/b.
Anderson Power Pipe: +1.5 to 2 psi. I use this pipe. The gains are actual on dyno

if your gunna run the intercooler, your gunna have to reroute the intake piping.

best way i've seen yet is to "clock" the supercharger housing (the discharge part that houses the impellor) so that the discharge tube goes down. the cut up some intercooler piping (you can get it cheap off ebay) and use some silicone couplers(also on ebay) to route it to the front bumper on the driver side. setup the intercooler (you'll prolly need to make brackets to hold it in place) and run the tubing to it. from the intercooler, you can then run into the fender area where the stock airbox hole is, into the engine bay, and up to the throttle body. i've been looking for a picture but cant seem to find anything yet.

or you could go the slightly easier route and get vortechs aftercooler. IIRC its air to water too, so you can stuff ice inside it to get lower intake air temps.

this is sort of how it would look like.

http://s269.photobucket.com/albums/j...delayedout.jpg

imagine the L shaped piece just above the intercooler being where the supercharger is blowing down into. comes around the front to the bumper, where the intercooler is. up around and into the throttle body. this is actually the intake route for my turbo. (you can see the BOV flange ) if you go with a blow through setup, you can cut the last long peice that has the idle air coming off of it and put the MAF there. draw through gets complicated when you add in any sort of pressure relief...

100 miles or 100k miles. depends on how good the tune is, how well you maintain it, how much you beat on it, etc
