Default suspension upgrade

ok finally getting new springs and shocks!!! I was planning in HR ss springs and tokico shocks. not sure on CC plates yet. what do u guys think?

I have 17 inch cobras and bbk LT no cats. Will the LT be a clearance issue?

Get the plates!

How low are you going? LT's are always a clearance issue duder. I often scrape my midpipe on crap and I don't even have headers.

according to American Muscle;Lowers Front: 1.75"
Lowers Rear: 1.6"
those are the estimated numbers.

If you want to not scrape your headers, install a set of full length sub frame connectors. You'll bottom out on them before you hit the headers.

My exhaust sits lower than my connectors and I don't even have LT's...

My bad! I was looking at a pic of the underside of my car and noticed that they do, in fact, hang lower than my SFC's.....

your plan sounds good, get the c/c plates, I have mine lowered a little and my mufflers scrape every now and then... just take it easy over speed bumps and be careful in the snow

I have tokico d-specs as well and love them

tdcalhoun what kind of mufflers do u have? i have the powerflo catback and they already sit pretty low. i might have to change them out b/c im def going to lower my car.
