Default bad coil????

My 04 GT has a slight miss at idle and mainly when cruising in 4th or 5th gear below 1500 rpm's. It runs great when accelerating or anything above 1500 rpm's. I have been driving it like this for 2 or 3 days and the check engine light hasn't come on. Could this be a bad coil?

Could be. You said you jumped on it and it seemed fine. I would check your spark plugs and see how they look. One could be fouled out or have a slight coating of oil on it causing it not to fire correctly. My buddies car had two bad coils and it was missing very bed. I suggest changing the plugs first, as it only costs 30 bucks or so and use the OEM plugs. They're the best ones to use. Gap them .052-.055 inches and make sure you torque them properly and use anitseize or they could blow out on you and possibly ruin your cylinder head.

I changed the plugs and boots about 4 or 5k miles ago.
