Yea I don't understand that on vehicles with PATS either... It's basically just an extra option that can have problems and often causes problems because of being installed by an idiot and then those problems are usually a huge pain to diagnose... And they can make diagnosis a lot harder even when the problem has nothing to do with the system.

Yea dont you love when you go to work on something and find wires just twisted around terminals held on by masking tape

Well, the car starts and runs fine. Its just the little red alarm light keeps flashing even while i'm driving. Just want to know anyone has any experience with a "valet" switch on an aftermarket alarm ? I've read a lot of posts on the net about resetting the alarm system with this "valet" switch. Thanks for all the help everyone.
