Hello,

I have a '97 GT with a PI Swap, the noise in the video is pretty accurate as to how it sounds live. If anyone has any ideas as to what this could be or what I could do to identify the problem, I'd appreciate it.

Holy Sh*t.

How long has this thing been making this noise? Any history here we should know about? Tuning etc? Mileage? Sounds almost like a collapsed lifter. How does it run? Blow any smoke? Stutter? A little more detail will help!

Have you tried taking the belt off to see and run the engine without? Will let you know if its the engine or something else.

Sounds like a video on utube with a 4.6l 01-04 GT timing chain slapping the hell out of the cover because of worn tentioners,,only yours is faster! search it, you will see!
