Car looks great man. Do you run new edge shocks and struts or are you running fox body ones, since your lowered?

Yeah, definitely fox shocks.

Thanks guys for all the positive feedback. There has been a lot of talk on here an other places regarding Coil-Over kits, so I figured that I'd do a write up while installing mine. I have searched high and low for a good "how to" and have found nothing, not to mention the instructions from UPR are pretty ****ty. Anyways, let me know if you guys have any questions regarding the install process or whatever.

So in the last picture why didn't you put that spacer on the shock shaft first and than slid it through the CC plate? Isn't the Top of the shaft hitting your hood

There are no clearance problems on my car running the spacers on top. There are only 7/8." I don't think it matters much on a non-coilover setup if the spacers up top or on the bottom as long as you don't have clearance problems up top. On this coilover stup, there is that series of 2 washers and a bearing sandwiched together that need to move along the strut shaft freely (no homo). If there is a spacer on the bottom, the shaft will no longer be smooth and will have something for these bearings to catch on as the suspension articulates. That's the only thing that I could see that would be a problem.

It only takes about 2-3 mins each side to swap the spacer from the top to the bottom, and I have tried it both ways cause I didn't like the way it looks having the spacer on top which is what the instructions call for. I tried switching them to the bottom and it made some clunking noises when the suspension articulated, so I put them back up top.

Thanks to everyone for the nice comments and positive feedback. It's cool that I have a sticky now

Thanks lizzy
