seems like common sense might not be so common. I am new to the mustang and my car was built by steeda for the track, common sense would dictate that it would have an appropraite tank for that. I have a few other HP cars that can get as low as a 1/4 tank before they lose any fuel pressure under g loading. Since the steeda burns fuel like mad at sebring it doesnt take long to get to a half a tank, maybe 8 to 10 laps or so or about 35 to 40 miles. Let me know when you want to bring your ride to the race track, I can show you how to drive it properly.
Lol you are 100% correct in your statement. If I had a car built by steeda specifically to perform at the track, I would assume all basic issues such as fuel needs would be addressed prior to completion/delivery of the car. That being said, maybe steeda needs to step it up a notch! Hahaha! As far as bringing my ride down, free lessons, you bet!
You need a baffled tank, or change feed point. Use an external pump with a sump for a draw point and you wont starve in corners.
exactly.. or take the fuel tank out and let it air dry for about a day, cut it in half, and get your favorite MIG welder out and put a U in it.
Seriously.. baffled tanks aren't that expesive.. believe it or not most junk yards have them laying around.. seems ppl can't drive at 120 in the quarter.
