Default Another Squeaking Noise "SOLVED"

Ok after a couple hours of trying to track down this squeaking in the trunk area I have found out what it is!!
Its the trunk latch believe it or not!
All you need to do to fix it is just lube up the latch with thick grease.

So if you have a squeaking noise in the rear and cant figure out what the heck it is try this.....

Grease it like this..

That's funny, I found out the latch was making noise but wasn't sure what to do. Thanks for the post!

I just did this yesterday using (I guess) the same bearing grease it looks like in the pictures.

I hope this is the problem I was really starting to think it was shocks.

I did this and the noise is still there but much more faint. I guess I'll go back and add more tomorrow.

The point being that it is the latch thanks a lot for figuring this out.
