Question Right Front Wheel Bearing help

Hey guys.... so I changed my oil today and got my tires rotated as well and they told me i had a right front bearing loose. Im not too familiar with wheel bearing so my questions are:

What do you need to do to fix a loose/ worn wheel bearing?
How much does the part cost?
How much should I expect a shop to charge?
... or anything else that might help.

I appreciate it > SonicX.

I don't remember exact cost but I think it is 110 for both. You can do it your self if you know how to change brakes. I would do both sides at the same time.

The reason to replace both is just like brakes, They both have seen the same amount of wear and use, Just one side decided to fail first. It is very likely that the other wheel bearing is showing stress itself.

Yeah if you are going to do one, do both. You should never change 1 of something that should be replaced in pairs, such as brakes, tires, bearings, etc. You can get the hub assembly with the bearing off of latemodelrestoration.com for about $60 each.

its really up to you, outside of warranties, just for you personal information, change both or end up taking it back in for the same issue on the other side. as said.. you SHOULD change both, can you get by with one.. yeah but no telling how long. if you want to take care of your car and keep it up nice, spend a little extra and do it right.
