I do that same thing. I don't even notice it anymore. Sometimes people in my car are like WTF was that? You ALWAYS sound like a tool trying to explain...</P>

OK here's the deal guys. If you've ever seen the inside of a T45 or 3650 tranny you can see what's going on. First of all the stock clutch sucks, and because of that, the reverse gear set doesn't synchronize right, which mauls the teeth on your reverse collar. The longer this goes on, the worse the teeth get, which makes it harder for the reverse gear to engage. I saw mine when I had my tranny rebuilt and the teeth looked pretty mauled. Replacing the clutch with a quality aftermarket clutch will help, but the damage to the reverse collar is already done, so it won't completely go away until that is replaced, which means a transmission rebuild. <IMG src=smileys/smiley11.gif border="0"> </P>
Ever since I had mine rebuilt, shifting into reverse is a piece of cake.</P><edited><editID>USAMuscle</editID><editDate>37999.8113541667</editDate></edited>
