I am so glad you posted this installation up. i know for sure i need to replace my bushings now. i know they are wasted, but ever since i put the new adjustable upper arms on, i have heard a clunk as well. my car has 52K on it, but i don't forsee the replacement as being any easier under there than your experience. may be worth buying the tool, i think MM sells them, maybe search for a used one.

thanks for the advice, will have to get the supplies/parts, my father and a case to get the ball rolling.

Yeah the tool would probably make it easier, I just couldn't justify it. I did think about buying one and renting it out on here. But after figuring out the best way to do it the second one was cake.
