Default gear change + track lock rebuild kit

I finally decided to get my rear end gears change and found a guy to do it
(really hard to find someone who can actualy do it) im going with the 4.10s and im going ahead and getting the bearing kit but do I need to go ahead and get the traction-lok rebuild kit with carbon disc while im in there or is it not nessary? The car has 130K miles if that matters.

Another question is why is the speedcal $150 when you can get a gear for $15 dollars?

I would do the carbon disc upgrade while your in there. the speedo gears are cheaper, but they strip. I just pulled mine out and found it was stripped, although it was still working most of the teeth were gone.

I know im so excited I just hope that im not going to low and should go 3.73. seems to me that 1st gear is going be very low with 4.10's, according to the graph i looked at here http://www.paladinmicro.com/HPvsSpeedCalc.htm it looks like you could take off in second pretty easy for everyday driving. I do a lil highway too but im sure when its all said and down and I hit the gas in sencond pretty hard for the first time i will forget about all that other stuff lol

I just put 3.90's in mine and it is a big change. I am having to use 5 gear all the time now.
any road your on thats 55 speed limit you have to hit 5th. but, I do have to say the car woke up.. you really notice it.. I havent fixed the speedo yet, I am using a GPS for the speed. looking forward to getting a tuner to fix that and put abetter tune on it.
