Default after re-build an auto tranny

does the auto transmision need programing after a rebuild? because after i did re build my transmision i faced a problem which is in the second gear its just like taking a long breath and goes to higher rpm and wont shift to the 3rd and less i remove my feet from the pedal or somtimes it shift wierd :s i dont know how to explane it but thats what happend..... some people said that it could be a mechanical problem and a guy said it may need a re programming after the rebuild...... so please give me some advise !

it was a stock rebuild , after three days of the rebuild this problem starts, i changed the vavle body 2 times ( used one ) but still the same

Was the 2-3 accumulator piston replaced? It could be leaking.

i dont know realy , where does it locate? in the trany itself or the valve body? can u please post a picture of it?
