Going on a long drive...questions about premium fuel!

uhh not trying to be an a$$hole but Acetone is a corrosive! adding that to your tank would be at best a dumb ideal.

i dont think ive ever been to a gas station in my life that didnt have at least 91. i would just keep a small bottle of octane booster in the trunk and use that if you had to, but chances are you wont.

Alright, I guess it looks like the general consensus is that I'm worrying way too much and that I should just carry some octane booster. It also just seemed like an interesting question, so I figured I'd ask and I was also curious about the octane booster.
Finding premium isn't necessarily a chore around central Iowa, but in the very small towns I live around at least, it isn't very convenient to find. I've also been in a situation before where I had been driving for hours and realized, oh no, my tank is nearly empty and it's been past midnight with no 24 hour service stations around. So, it's pretty much, just my luck to have something like this pop up, but I'll just go buy some octane booster and forget about the worries.
And to those that were curious by exactly what had detonated my piston before, it was kind of luck a combination of the worst scenario. Mechanical fuel failure in the pump, low fuel in the tank, and another mechanic who had gotten far to throttle happy when I specifically told them the car needed a revamped tune.
