I had what I believe was a "king cobra racing clutch" installed in my 99 mustang gt about two years ago. After about 3 months or so I have felt the clutch was strange but I figured it was just the clutch and me being unfamiliar with it; however now i'm certain something is wrong.

The first issue I ran into with the clutch is it seem to "pull" from different spots. I don't really believe it is doing this anymore.

The most current and recent issue is sometimes when you push down the clutch it feels very smooth and natural; However most of the time it feels ..."bumpy" i'm not sure of how else to describe this. The other issue is sometimes when I go and drive to get something to eat with the clutch pushed in it starts to do this squeaking sound, not like high pitch sound just a lower tone. If I let up on the clutch it stops and if i leave it up for a few seconds I can push it back down and I don't get the sound.. Eventually the noise comes back, just only when I have the clutch pushed in, also it seems to only do this in first gear as I do not notice it going down the road moving through gears.

I can also feel the sound on the gear shifter.

The car however never slips out of gear or fails to get into gear when i'm moving down the road.

Is the clutch just a pos and is going bad? I've done some performance upgrades to the car but nothing seriously major, I had intended on doing this when I originally bought the clutch, but I might do some upgrades once I get another car to ride around town with.
