Default Help on thermostat housing question

I am looking for a housing that has a hole in it to put a thermostat temp gauge. The deal is I have a 1998 Mustang GT with a 2002 GT engine in it, and I am having no temp reading due to the computer wiring hooked to the ECT. I have been looking for a housing with a screw hole but the one for a 2002 doesn't have one. Any ideas?

Or can I splice the the temp reading and computer reading to one ECT??

Drill a hole and tap it, there's not a whole lot of pressure to deal with and 2 or 3 threads with a decent sealant will work fine...

All you need is the proper sized drill and tap...
