cobra caliper help

Default cobra caliper help

installed new 10th ann. Cobra calipers on my 03 gt. What went wrong was the damn car wont move an inch after i was done.

WHAT DID I MISS?

I have 18in wheels and i bled the brakes removed wheel chalks theres a 1/2 in gap between calipers. HELP PLS.

Could you have kinked the rubber brake lines during your assembly? If they got kinked fluid will flow one way but wont flow back so the piston stays in

did you do front and rear,mess with e-brake at all,what do you mean by 1/2 inch gap,from the pads to rotors,or calipers to pads,where did you buy the brakes from,are you sure all parts were there,pads popped into the caliper,

nope not that either.

I re-checked clerance its more like 1/4 in rather than 1/2in.

I did the fronts only. I purchased 10 ann. Cobra calipers, they come w/ oe cobra pads and i bought cobra 13in rotors. Also i used new bango bolts if it matters. When i say clerance, i mean the gap between calipers and wheels. Thanks.

take the banjo bolts back out of the calipers and put 2 crush washers on each side of the bolt instead of 1. should fix it.

I used the two brass washers my new banjo bolts came w/. Mabey i just over torqed them. But im willing to try anything at this point. thanks man. i'll post an update tomorow after work.

Tried the washer trick still no luck. im gonna try replacing the brake hoses with steel braided cobra ones next.

THANKS EVERYONE FOR ALL THE SUGGESTIONS.

ill update this post after i findout what went wrong.

were they new calipers,maybe if used they might be bad set that someone sold you
