Default Bleeding the conv roof system

I got more fluid in the motor and still not going up. Makes the winding sound though. I was talking to a guy a Ford and he said there is a process to bleeding the system. Does anyone know this proceedure? TIA

Here's the procedure--it appears you have to remove the hydraulic system to bleed it...

From the shop manual:

"NOTE: The convertible top hydraulic components are removed from the vehicle as an assembly. The hydraulic components are individually repaired and the system must be bled before being installed into the vehicle." [emphasis added]

Yeah the Ford guy said that it should be done by a professional. I'm now thinking he's right. Thanks Cliff

It doesn't appear at all difficult, just time consuming...
