Default FYI Wagner Ceramic brake pads terrible

I put a set of these up front on my GT a few months ago after the counter guy at Advance Auto parts told me they are low dust pads. They released so much dust that my wheels turned black in 3 days, I thought maybe they were breaking in but after 2 or 3 months of dealing with blackened front wheels 3 to 5 days after washing the car I threw in the towel got a refund and bought a set of Duralast C-Max ceramic pads. Hopefully they don't dust as bad they are iunlike any autopart store bought pad I've had before, they have a rubberish backing thats supposed to reduce micro vibrations??? I guess it's overkill but oh well. I would have shelled out the extra $30 for Hawk or EBC pads but I needed brakes today.

I had the same issue with those pads on my wife's 2003 Toyota Highlander, got a full refund after complaining to Wagner.

FWIW I have been very pleased with Pep Boy's ProStop ceramic pads, great stopping power and one of the cleanest I have ever used...

I actually cheaped out last minute and picked up the duralast cermaic pads from autozone myself. They were dusty at first but now they seems to be pretty good, they dont leave nearly as much dust as the factory 03 cobra pads I had on my car.

Update on the C-max pads, the have been on for 3 days now and zero dust, I'm surprised because normally brakes alot as they break in. They also don't squeal at all, the wagners were loud as heck.

I have yet to have issues with those c-max pads either and I have drilled/slotted rotors to boot.
