this is what I think you should do...check corral.net, craigslist, and any/all of the mustang forums for used offroad midpipes. Since you have flowmasters I'd search for a MAC o/r H pipe.

Once you buy this midpipe 50-100 bucks depending on age/condition, it is a direct swap from our stock manifolds and to your catback. Simply cutting up an exhaust with a saw is just plain, well, its half ***. Your car doesn't deserve that. Once emissions time comes, just swap the pipes back over and you are good to go.
