Question for the gurus

lol all i saw was 350 hp/ 400+ tq all natural with 4k, didnt even read the full post.
i dont understand how anyone could ever want to tear down their motor or anything along those lines and only want 350/400 when you acheive that plus more with about half the funds, if not less, to go juice or boost vs to build a motor.
juice for quick and easy go power at the push of a button cheap, you just gotta fill it up.
boost for easy go power at the push of the throttle, you just gotta have a bit more time to shop around and/or a slightly deeper pocket than the juice.
once your on the boost or juice, you cant never break that addiction, its like freakin heroin. try it once and your done. **** i been tryin to think of ways to let me wife sell her lancer for a turbo mazda CX-7.

Yeah I gotta get out of my chevy 350 frame of mind. I am slowly learning about the 4.6. yep I think the roush way out will be the way to go. At least I believe it will still be smog legal for cali. Thanks for showing me the error to my ways .

Kenne bell probably offers the best pretty much 100% complete kit, but they're a bit pricey (you get everything all at once though) and they're cali legal.
another alternative is the vortech route. you can get used kits dirt cheap, or even peice together a kit (see this thread in the boost section about the $1500 vortech kit) -- that is if your into a more DIY approach.
there's alot of "supporting" mods needed for supercharger kits. im not sure on the roush kit, but the one i could find had a tiny little supercharger on it and it didnt have anything extra. you'll need things like fuel injectors, fuel pump, spark plugs, a tune, possibly a new MAF, bypass valve. adds up pretty quick.
the kenne bell 2.1 kit has a unique "whine" to it that most mustang guys drool over.
