Default 255lpg forced induction fuel pump.

I can't find the magazine, but I was breezing through why I was on the head last week and I and I beleive it was edlebrock (may be wrong on the brand) but they had two different 255lph fuel pumps listed for 96-97 return style fuel systems. One was a standard 255lph, and the other was labeled as 255lph forced induction. Does anyone have an knowledge of this? I'm curious what the difference would be between the two.

It's the Holley brand, one listed as 255lph and the other 255lph for forced induction. IDK, I always thought it was a gimmick

Walbro makes them, there is a 255lph "standard" pump, and a 255lph "high pressure" unit.

Here's the output curve for the standard pump:

and the high pressure:

You can see that the HP pump maintains a higher flow rate overall, and well out past 80 psi where the standard pump falls off.

I ran the 255lph HP pump on my 225rwHP 1.6L 1992 Miata, with an AFPR at 120psi fuel pressure to get enough juice into the engine...

Good info Cliff, so in short might as well get the 255 high pressure correct? I can't really see there being any cons to it.
