Alright, I just bought an 02 GT this past weekend. I havnt seen the coolant fan running when the AC isnt on. I know its electric and cuts on and off according to the motors temp... but the car came with a diablo predator tuner. I didnt tune it but i know the guy before me did and i think you can adjust the cooling fan options with them. I set it back to "original backup" just to be safe but anyways... Is this normal for the fan not to be running or does it just run while im cruising around? The ac blows cold, the engine temp guage sits perfectly normal. The car runs prefectly smooth but im just checking to see if there could be a possible malfunction with the fan. Whenever i cut the ac on it starts spinning but as soon as i cut it off it stops. Like i said the motor doesnt get hot.. the cooling system is fine and everything. Any ideas or is this just in my head? Thanks

Ya i know... I need to stop worrying. Ford worked on it today and they didnt find anything wrong with it... ahh whatever.

The factory fan is a two speed fan. The normal speed comes on once the temp reaches a certain degree, the high speed on the fan only kicks on when the temp reaches a certain degree AND the A/C is running. If the engine is below x temp the fan will not come on untill it reaches the temp even if the a/c is on.
