dented oil pan need help

I'd be real careful, if you dented the pan bad enough for a coutnerbalance on the crank to come in contact with it theres a good chance u bent the oil pickup to, don't run the car. U can get the pan off but just jacking the motor up and using aan array of 1/4 swivels to remove the pickup tube with the pan dropped a bit.

well i got the the pan out i jacked the engine as high as i could then droped the k wont as easy as i thought dam bolts wound't move even with a impact but i got it but i do have a another ques will any 4.6 or 5.4 pan work theres a ton of them on ebay some cheaper than another cause i need a pan asap

sorry to hijack the thread but, i noticed on my oilpan, that there were 2 peices of metal at the top part (where most people run their oil returns for turbo/superchargers) that stick up like a baffle -- mine were damaged while the rods let go... what purpose do they serve?

i dont have a clue but that is what my rod bolt was hitting other oil pans i looked at didnt have plus the drain was in the back of the pan im wondering myself if they wont there i would have never had a problem
