I have the same setup for the most part. A local mustang guy and shop owner said alot of times when you disconnect the rack and air gets in the PS system it can cause damage to the rack and play light your describing, try taking the cap off the resoivoir, put the car on stands, start it and move the sterring wheel back and forth from one stop to the other a few times and check the fluid level. When I did my install I just unbolted the rack and ziptied it to the swaybar faster and easier than disconnecting the whole unit. PS: I would def get the bumpsteer kit because the a-arm will be way off compared to the tie rod, with all the spacers put on the bumpsteer it corrected mine.

I'm not sure where racerbox is going with this... but we do offer MF members a 10% discount on our k-member kit.
