Mine blew around 110k, I just replaced it with the new ford one and no problems since. The install is very easy.

It's done, though took me like 4 hours. How do you "burp" the cooling system? I need to drain it again and get good clean coolant into it.

2001 mustang gt intake problems

hi. i am ready to purchase a 2001 mustang gt with 48000 org mi one owner. i read about problems with platice intake maniflow cracking and leaking if i buy this car should i change maniflow now thanks bob

Hey Bob, That looks like a great find!

You dont need to spend the money on a new intake, mine went for over 100K before it failed me. Unless you want to put a performance intake manifold on I wouldn't even worry about it.
