Default How to FULLY drain coolant?

After overheating (intake cracked, coolant sprayed out), I haven't been able to seeminly drain all of the coolant properly. I have spent time with the water hose, distilled water, bottle of radiator flush, but I still get cloudy green coolant instead of pretty crystal clear green coolant. I hate this stupid reservoir system. I cannot figure out how to truly get out every drop of antifreeze so I can put 100% clean... Help?

To fully flush a system you need to remove the thermostat if you're going to use a hose and water to flush out crap from the cooling system. Otherwise the thermostat restricts the flow.

Prestone makes a t fitting that will go inline with a heater hose, turn ur heater to hot, (dont need the fan running) and run the engine with the thermostat out and the petcock open.
