i beg to differ the lift and duration of the stock 5.4 and 4.6 the cams have to be different becuz on the 2002 5.4 it has 260hp and 350 torque and the 4.6 has 260 hp and 302 torque torque so u are tellin me more displacement and no hp increase

Yeah, they are different. I am in the process of building my 5.4 to go in my 99gt. I am using 4v heads and a cent. charger. Is anyone else building the motor or just using stock internals? Just wondering.

the suspension is a lot better but i would rather have the adjustable though.

yeah the cams are different in a truck motor. depends on if you wana use your mustang to tow or to go fast

should i swap the 5.4 cam's and put my Npi cams in? i think the diffrence on the pi cams are .550 lift and npi cams are.500 lift, im not sure though.

I had Mike Troyer of Troyer Performance tune a Superchip for me. I did do a Dyno, but had a bad plug so did not get accurate results. I did get the A/F ratios so Mike could tune it and I also bought Autotap software so I could data log at cruise and high speed runs. Took three tries to get it right. I need to do another Dyno to see how it is really running and Mke can open up even more power

yea just checked up on your updated car domain and it seems to be coming along. I like how you went with a silver block color. My brother just built his motor and went with a black and silver combo somewhat like yours. Keep us posted. When do you expect to get the motor put in?

this is my new account name, its not BLK_96_GT. ya i just posted up some pics i im not exactley sure how much hp ill get but i think ill get about 280hp / 340tq with my current mods and a dyno tune.
